Ingredients
200 gm Dark chocolate (Lindt or Wawel dark chocolate is a good brand and it only costs about NGN900)
200 gm self raising flour ( you can use plain flour, but don’t forget to add baking powder)
200 gm salted butter

200 gm sugar
3 eggs
120 ml water
1 tablespoon Cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Method
- Preheat oven to 175C;
- Melt butter in a pan in low heat, add water, sugar, cocoa powder and the chocolate and stir until smooth and leave to cool for some minutes;
- Then mix eggs and vanilla essence, add the flour and the chocolate mixture
- Mix at low speed until all the mixture is incorporated. (the mixture will be a bit watery, don’t worry about this);
- Pour mixture into baking tins or cupcake cases and bake for 35- 45 mins or until it is evenly cooked when you insert a skewer.
